Johnsons Hotel Linen, a division of Johnson Service Group comprising nine sites across England, Wales and Scotland, is one of the UK’s largest laundry and linen hire companies. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Field Based Account Manager, to support our national accounts, covering many of the UK’s leading brands in the corporate 4 star and budget hotel sectors across the UK.

Key Account Manager Responsibilities of this role include:

• Represent the Company in a professional, polite and efficient manner;

• Undertake account Management in conjunction with the National Account Manager for group Customers and individual Hotels on a regular and systematic basis, to include accurate reporting of issues, preparation of a monthly report, coordination of Johnsons Hotel Linen group activities to General Managers

• Provide day-to-day enquiry handling and full customer support for all customers allocated to your area of responsibility; • Liaise regularly with Johnsons Hotel Linen’s service office, transport and production teams;

• Prior knowledge of stock management system

• Attend service review meetings with customers and internally;

• Arrange customer visits to Johnsons Hotel Linen’s production facilities;

• Assist with the delivery of emergency stocks of linen, if required;

• Train new customers and Customer Service Representatives of Johnsons Hotel Linen’s system of service, help with installation of new linen and general enquiry handling and monitoring of customer service team activities and issues

• Manage customer account closures;

• Reporting any service or quality issues to the General Manager and others, as directed;

• Reporting of any issues or concerns to the National Account Manager, as appropriate;

• Ensure all proposals meet company’s strategy and objectives, seeking guidance as required;

• Submit a weekly report of movements;

• Travel involved

• Submit a month report of outcomes and proposed future activity;

• Fulfil other reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time for the general benefit of the business;
